Our Worship

Our worship is both traditional and contemporary. We make use of Organ, Electric Piano and Media Player backing tracks. Our Choir complements our worship. Praise is transmitted through a fully integrated audio system.

Our praise words are projected via a data projector on to a screen. This facility is used to display images and video content as appropriate or desired. We provide song words in large print for any individuals who so desire. A Pew News leaflet is produced weekly, including an order of service and intimations.

The congregation is used to leading and participating through bible readings / prayers or sharing updates on Church Life. We are happy to express our faith in this way.

Sunday Worship

On a Sunday, we offer services at 9.30am and 11.00am.

The service at 9.30am is generally less formal and shorter in duration. This service can be led by a variety of individuals includung, minister, congregational members and invited speakers. The service at 9.30am is currently suspended during the period of the COVID19 health pandemic.

The service at 11.00am is led by Our Minister each week and support by members of the congregation and our young people. This service makes use of different forms of media and praise. Numbers in the Sanctuary are presently limited to 50 persons due to the current COVID 19 health pandemic. Anyone wishing to attend in person should contact the Session Clerk in advance.

Hospitality is generlly offered following each of our services, with tea/coffee cakes and biscuits.

Worship on Wednesday

This service, which is now 25 years old, is an informal act of worship which, for many, supplements Sunday worship. We gather for praise, fellowship and hospitality, and are led by volunteers.

We do not ask for an offering but do support Church of Scotland H.I.V.Aids initiative. Dontations received at this service support the Guild led charitable programmes e.g. the 'sweetie basket', plus others

These donations are in thanksgiving for God's goodness and are an accompaniment to our worship.

(Please note: the sweetie basket is out for donations at the Guild, on a Sunday at coffee time as well as at WoW - not the we have a sweet tooth at St Andrews)

Since March 2020, this weekly service has been delivered via "zoom" at a revised time of 11.00am. where we have been able to welcome new worshippers to this service.
