Session Development Working Group
This working group is responsible for the development and training of our Elders, as well as the monitoring of the working groups structure within Barrhead St Andrews. Thus far training has taken the form of three informal meetings designed to be educational in nature, and encouraging us to think how we may serve our community and members in different ways. The following summarises what each of these covered
- Liz Crumlish presented on the Church of Scotland’s Pathway to Renewal
- Rev Stuart Davidson minister of Ferguslie Park shared his experiences of serving in a community ministry.
- Neil McLennan from Sanctus media came along to share his knowledge and experiences in relation to providing an online church service. (This initial meeting led us to where we are now with our online church broadcast. God was certainly at work with us here, as we certainly did not appreciate just how important this would be in all our lives!)
