Bible Focus

This week is the third in our series working through the book ‘But God’ by Casey Lute. In this week’s passage, we see the Israelites confessing their sins and all the many ways they had let God down and turned their backs on him. Today’s ‘But God’ verse reminds us that we serve a God who is compassionate and forgiving, slow to anger and abounding in love. Let’s remember that truth for ourselves when our hearts condemn us and also seek to model that character of God to the world around us.
