Roof fundraisers - sponsor a tile

Our Church’s flat roofs are needing significant investment to ensure it remains safe, accessible, and welcoming for our congregation, and the wider community.

The total cost of works is £450,000, renewing the roof sections and carrying out associated drainage. Our current funding raised so far is £340,000

We are seeking support bridge the funding gap and are launching a fundraising campaign, inviting support from our local congregation, community users, and friends of Barrhead St Andrew’s Church.

Each section of the roof has been divided into individual “tiles” with each tile available for sponsorship or fund at £200 each.

We warmly invite individuals, families, community groups, and local businesses to get involved by sponsoring one, or more of our roof tiles.

Contributions can be made through personal donations or by organising fundraising events in support of the ‘Sponsor-A-Tile’ campaign.

For every £200 donated, you have the opportunity to add your name, or your organisation’s name, to the feature wall within the Church, recognising your valued contribution.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider completing a Gift Aid declaration with your donation. This allows us to increase your gift by an additional 25% at no extra cost to you, through the HMRC Gift AiD scheme.
