After All
AFTER ALL is a show all about the subject of death. It is a celebration of our vulnerable and courageous existence using dance, theatre, storytelling and comedy to ask: how do we deal with the end? It takes place on Thursday 19th March, 7.30pm at Eastwood Theatre.
By exploring various funeral rites – ones we have, ones we have lost, and those yet to be invented – choreographer Solène Weinachter confronts our transition between worlds head-on. AFTER ALL is a hopeful attempt to conjure a better sort of space for us to be with loss and collectively contemplate the finite nature of our lives.
AFTER ALL is a warm, tender and at times humorous show about death — using dance, theatre and storytelling to explore how we meet endings, and how we continue living alongside loss. The piece has toured internationally and is suitable for ages 14+.
Some individuals who are already engaging with conversations around grief, remembrance or transition may find the performance thoughtful, grounding or gently resonant.
Alongside the show, we also offer an optional Space to Speak About Death Together — a facilitated, informal and confidential conversation space inspired by the Death Café movement. This is not a counselling or therapy session, but a gentle environment where participants can reflect, listen, or share if they choose. Tea and time for further conversation are included.
Tickets: Standard £15 | Concession £13. Tickets can be booked online here.
