This Sunday, we conclude our series on mental health from a Christian perspective. We are closing with an exploration of the wonderful Psalm 139. David’s words remind us of this simple yet beautiful truth – that we are all intimately known and loved by our creator God. As human beings we can so easily fall into negative and condemnatory ways of thinking about ourselves. Psalm 139 brings us back to the reality that God cherishes us so deeply, that we can never go beyond the limits of his love, and that He has designed perfect plans for each and every one of us. Take some time during the week to read this Psalm in different versions and to allow the truth of God’s word to sink deep into your soul and your mind. You are intimately loved and precious to God.
