Open Doors Standing Strong event

Standing Strong is a unique and uplifting experience aimed at deepening our relationship with God and our persecuted family. On Saturday 11th May, Standing Strong will be coming to Glasgow – and we need your help to spread the word!

This is a precious opportunity for people to meet the risk-takers of the persecuted church, ask them questions, pray with them, and get a glimpse into what life is like for millions of believers worldwide. We will also spend time worshipping God together.

Standing Strong Glasgow will be at Findlay Church, Clarendon Place, Glasgow on Saturday 11th May. Doors open at 9.30am for tea and coffee, with the event kicking off at 10am and concluding at 3pm. You can register and order lunch through this link.

“My teenage daughter and I, along with a friend, attended Standing Strong in Cambridge last year,” shares Rev Bethany Burrage from Cheshunt. “The testimonies were deeply moving and we felt humbled and honoured to hear those who have suffered so much and yet walk in such faith.”

“The interactive prayer time had a huge impact,” she adds. “As a result, my friend began a monthly prayer meeting for the persecuted church, and I am now leading a Bible study for a couple of asylum seeker families living in our local hotel. I would urge everyone to attend Standing Strong this year.”

We love this testimony. It captures why we do Standing Strong – to inspire faith and provoke a deeper commitment to our persecuted family. With persecution intensifying worldwide, this support is more crucial than ever – and that’s why we want to make sure this event is better than ever.
